How to Earn CME/CE Credit for a Lecture

The required steps and order to complete activities and claim credit.

Required Steps (in recommended order)

To earn CME/CE credit you must complete:

  1. Review introductory content (Educational Objectives + Faculty/Planner Disclosures).
  2. Listen to the full audio program and review accompanying learning materials / summary.
  3. Complete the Post-test (after Step 2) and achieve a passing score of ≥80%.
  4. Complete the Evaluation (strongly recommended).

Pre-test is recommended (taken before listening) but not mandatory for credit. It is designed to be taken only once.

Post-test Rules

  • Multiple choice (A–D).
  • Passing = 80% or higher.
  • Most activities allow multiple attempts until you pass.
  • CRNAs: Special rules apply — post-test may only be submitted once; Evaluation is required. See Accreditation page for details.
  • After passing, you will be directed to the Evaluation.

Credit Validity

Most AudioDigest activities qualify for credit for up to 35 months from publication date (check specific activity).

After Completion

  • Credits appear in your Credit Tracker.
  • Download transcripts/certificates anytime.
  • Certain boards receive automatic reporting if you have entered your ID in your profile.

See the full accreditation details and role-specific sections (Physicians, CRNAs, PAs, NPs, etc.).
